More about our presenters:
Madison Dao-Whitten, Principal of Brilliant Way Global Consulting, is a first-generation Vietnamese-Black American and spent seven years in the foster care system. Madison combines her lived experience with over fifteen years of professional experience advancing workforce diversity and equitable outcomes for children, youth, and families. She infuses diversity, equity, and inclusion in all her work, including facilitating the change and implementation of public policies, enhancing human service programs and services, and leading training and technical assistance. She specializes in meaningfully integrating individuals with lived experience in decision-making and systems transformation efforts. Madison has consulted with more than 25 organizations/agencies and presented at countless conferences across the U.S., Japan, and India.
Judy Tudor began her journey into child welfare as a foster youth from age 15-18 years old. After aging out of foster care, she received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She has held various positions in child welfare from case manager, supervisor, manager, trainer and Assistant Director for Clark County Department of Family Services.
