Organizations that provide workforce development and career pathways services to youth and young adults are vital contributors to the workforce system but may not be deeply connected to the existing public system infrastructure. This webinar is an introductory overview of the public workforce system and the most common points of entry for youth and young adult-serving entities, designed for groups that are unfamiliar with the system. It is the first in a series of conversations that will more deeply illuminate specific points of entry, common requirements and processes, and useful resources for becoming successful members of the public workforce system. Attendees of this session will learn the most common points of entry into the public workforce system for youth-serving organizations, be made aware of existing DOL funding opportunities, and get a preview of opportunities for deeper learning over the coming months.
