The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) at the U.S. Department of Labor has developed lists of technical assistance resources to help state and local workforce leaders, youth program practitioners, stakeholders and partners successfully implement a high-quality summer youth employment program.
- Young Workers - Summer Job Safety: The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is helping make young workers more aware of potential workplace hazards and is providing possible solutions to those hazards to foster a more positive and rewarding work experience.
- WEBINAR Summer-at-a-Glance: Building Workforce Opportunities for Youth During Challenging Times: Learn as local communities share their experiences operating summer opportunities during 2020 and explored ideas for the summers ahead.
- Highlights of the Summer Jobs and Beyond: Career Pathways for Youth Demonstration Grants: Explore best practices and lessons learned from previous U.S. Department of Labor grants which focused on linking existing summer employment programs with re-engagement centers (where they exist), employers, and other community partners to align resources, and assist youth in preparing for successful entry into the workforce.

- Youth.gov Summer & Youth Employment Resources: Composed of representatives from 21 federal agencies that support programs and services focusing on youth, Youth.gov has created a resource list of summer and employment resources which provides resources to help young people connect to employment and additional resources including summer meals and financial literacy.
- YouthRules! The U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division promotes positive and safe work experiences for teens by providing information on federal and state labor laws that apply to young workers.
- Don't forget to find summer meals for your young employees! The Summer Meals for Kids Site Finder to find directions to nearby meal sites, as well as their hours of operation and contact information.
- Youth Employment Resource Collection: The FDIC features a collection of resources that support financial education and access to federally insured accounts for youth participating in employment programs.
