Work experiences and work-based learning activities are a priority under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

The Department of Labor compiled a list of federal, state, and non-profit resources that provide guidance and technical assistance on work experiences (WEX) and work-based learning (WBL) activities.

  • Paid and Unpaid Work Experience is a structured learning experience in a workplace and provides opportunities for career exploration and skill development
