Creating Entrepreneurship Pathways for Opportunity Youth

The Business Ownership Initiative and the Forum for Community Solutions hosted an event, “Creating Entrepreneurship Pathways for Opportunity Youth,” featuring two panels exploring how youth entrepreneurship can build wealth and promote economic self-determination in low-income communities.
The first panel was a conversation with leaders from programs supported by the Youth Entrepreneurship Fund (YEF), who shared how they adapt their work to the needs of the young people in their communities and strategies for engaging youth in the design of their programs. The second panel was a conversation with a young entrepreneur who participated in the program, describing how it set her up for success.
